Welcome 2016! I am praying that this is the year my photography business grows by leaps and bounds. Last year, my photography business was slow, but my wood block business grew like a wild fire. Even though I began to do wood blocks to help buy new things for my photography business, that ended up not being the case. Unfortunately, my son ended up getting a concussion just before he began his freshman year in high school when a soccer ball hit him in the back of the head and he blacked out and then hit the ground with his head. It is now January 2016 and he is still in vision therapy trying to right the wrong that was done to his eyes from the bruising on his brain! This has changed our family dynamic a bit now that we are no longer involved in any sports activities. This makes me sad because my son, Sam, always loved sports and now he has a fear of getting another concussion and doing more damage to his brain. It has caused a lot of literal headaches and figurative headaches in relation to his school because he was unable to read or write for the first few months of school. The teachers were, mostly, understanding, but he was once an all A/B student and is now a B/C/D student because he has missed so many assignments and school. He is slowly making up most of his work and is also preparing the best he can for finals next week.

With all that being said, I really want to focus more on growing not just my business, but my client base, my skill in photography and photo editing. I believe that I can take great pictures and all my clients have been very happy with the results, but I really want to take amazing photos and have my name get out into the community as being a talented photographer! This is my prayer for 2016!
